Good news, good news, good news!

I have an interview next week at what I think will turn out to be my dream job. It will be at a residential school for adolescent girls. Way more of the kind of work I want to do and way less of the stress of my last job, which I'm finishing up today by the way. Perfect timing! Keep me in your prayers!

sometimes i amaze myself:)

last night's dinner came out perfectly! i'm so proud of myself. i made peach salsa chicken, salad, and some kind of green bean casserole with bacon, tomatoes, onions, and garlic mixed in. it was really good, and i think big guns was tickled with it.

this morning we slept in a little. i haven't been sleeping well the past couple of nights, but this morning i talked myself into going to the gym. i'm glad i went. whenever i work out, i seem to push myself a bit harder when big guns isn't around. i haven't figured out why that is...probably when he's running next to me, i get lost in daydreams, thinking how cute he is and i forget to run! Anyway, today i went without him. I had a good hard run, but now i've pulled a muscle in my upper thigh! ouch! i have ice on it right now. pretty soon i need to jump in the shower and get a crack on my errands.

We got tickets to see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular in Boston in December! I can't wait for it. I've been jumping around the apartment today practicing my kicks. Maybe they'll want me to join them:) I need a lot of practice. yesterday I accidentally knocked down the towel rack in the bathroom!
I haven't been blogging much lately. A few weeks ago, I finally caved in and left my notice at my job. It was a tough decision to make, but I think it was the right one for me and for my career. I found a job posting yesterday at a DV program down near where BigGuns works. I would love to work there, so we'll see how it works out. I've also posted my resume on Monster.com and have a list of other places to check out. wish me luck!
Tonight I'm cooking a special dinner for Big Guns. He's been working a lot of long hours this week, so I'm treating him. I can't tell you what I'm making yet because it would spoil the surprise if he checks my blog before coming home. I can't wait to see how it comes out!
This might seem kind of random, but i'm realizing more and more how perfect God's timing is. It makes my life so much easier to know that he's got everything under control.
