sunny day!

hi everyone! it's such a pretty day today. i managed to squeeze in a little lunch break today, so i'm home with a few minutes to kill. i miss alfie running to greet me. yesterday we caught a sea dogs game up in portland. it was fun. i just wish it had been a day like today....it kept raining...and the sea dogs lost:(! maybe next time they'll get 'em! i feel very good today...i was a little slow moving this morning, but now that i'm moving around i'm enjoying myself...yes!, even in lawrence and on a day when i have a lot of work to do...go figure...oh well..i need to get going now.

Hi Ma! I know you probably won't get mom to read this to you until sometime tomorrow, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive, so you don't have to worry so much. It was really hot here today...I swear it felt like it was 100. Big Guns is sick again, so send him some get well soon vibes. he is still the sweetest though. even though he wasn't feeling well, he went with me to the garage this morning to get my car inspected. what a guy! i'm looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend! i'm going to bed now because i'm tired.

Hi Everyone!
I don't post as much as I should these days, but tonight i just had to because I know my grandmother has been waiting to here from me! It is good to be loved that much! Today Big Guns and I have just been doing errands around the apartment. Now our apartment is glistening, our clothes are cleaned and ironed, and food has been thought out for the week. After our hardwork we decided we deserved an evening of pampering. We soaked, moisturized, and exfoliated our feet, so they'd look nice in our sandals. Big Guns didn't think I was exfoliating with enough gusto, so he helped me finish up my feet. Don't I have the sweetest boyfriend on the planet:) Now my feet are nice and soft and callous free...so are his:) Well, that is all my news for tonight. I still have a little bit of a cold, and tomorrow I have a long day of work. I can't wait to see everyone next weekend. Goodnight!

Evening, Ma! I'm still alive:) It was fun to see you all this weekend. I'm glad you came. Today Big Guns and I have just been doing errands and getting ready for the week. Tomorrow I have to work until 8pm! Part of me is complaining, but part of me is just hoping my clients show up so I can get paid! On friday all of my appointments cancelled, so I made $0! They say that I should expect days like that, but that I'll have enough busy days so that it will all average out. I hope they're right! I took alfie to PETCO this afternoon to get his nails cut. It went much more smoothly this time around than it did when I took him to the vet. He whined just a little. Afterwards we went and browsed around the store, and I bought him a treat. I'm hoping he'll remember the treat after getting his nails done more than the actual procedure, so that eventually, he'll like the clippers. I'll keep you posted. Today he chose a small furry mouse. I think it was catnip free. He and Big Guns have been throwing it around the apartment all evening. We started watching a movie tonight, but i got bored, so i decided to come in and blog a bit. I know i've been slacking off lately...the first few weeks at work have been a bit crazy, though it feels like things are starting to settle down a little....Ma, don't forget to tell everyone about the fried dough party on the 22nd!
