whoever wants him can have him! Big Guns and I went on on Friday night and bought a new Christmas tree. We had fun decorating it and getting ourselves and the apartment into the christmas spirit. Ever since we put it up alfie will not leave it alone. No matter how much water we throw on him, he always goes back for more. Just a few minutes ago he knocked the whole thing over! It went crashing down onto our table, breaking the ornaments and the tree itself on the way down. grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We used to have a cat, Nicole, that liked to sleep among the branches of our Christmas tree. She never really bothered anything, other than flattening out a couple of branches, but oh did she love to sleep there. It used to drive Dad nuts.
You can try some citrus-smelling cleaner or air fresheners. Or maybe put a bowl of cut up oranges under the tree. Apparently, cats hate the smell of citrus.
I think maybe Alfie's just used to getting his own way...
